Fountainhead

You think you know, but you have no idea

“Jeremy Trees”

Every February around my birthday, these trees turn into the whitest blossom and then quickly lose this magnificent display soon after.  I think in all they last only a few weeks but ever since I was born my family has dawned the term “Jeremy Trees” and I never knew another term for them or even their real name.  Today after 30 years I decided to look it up.  They are Evergreen Pear trees.  Ironically pears are my favorite fruit although I don’t think these actually produce fruit.  At any rate, from an early age I always knew this time of year was special and not in a conceited way, but a form of pride for being on this Earth and taking care of it so we all could enjoy these trees in bloom.  This year however I noticed that the trees are already in full bloom and my birthday is weeks away.  That made me think about Global Warming and how everything is changing, even the little things that we may not all notice, but I sure do.  There is an anecdote that I think everyone should adhere to and realize that the surroundings we are all accustomed to are slowly disappearing;

If you place a frog in boiling water, it will quickly jump out.  However, if you place a frog in cold water, it will not perceive the danger and will slowly boil to death.

Apocalypto Revisited

Below is an old entry from my old blog but I thought it was worth sharing again in case you missed it the first time.  This isn’t the first time I have revisited this, conscious or otherwise…

Apocalypto

It happens at 5:49pm. The exact date is still unclear. It starts with the skies turning a dark purple, clouds covering the sun, complete darkness in a matter of seconds. The ground begins to shake uncontrollably for what seems like hours. A FLASH of brilliant light comes from the sky, piercing the purple skies and clouds. A radiation wave hits the Earth. Everyone is thrown to the ground. The sun has shrunk and is now a deep burnt orange with black spots and veins running through it. Something is coming through the clouds. It’s almost blinding. It hits the Earth with enormous force. Then another and another until soon the entire sky is orange with flames striking every parcel of ground. Everyone runs for cover but there is nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. The end of the world is upon them. More radiation waves and meteors hit. Complete and utter devastation that everyone has warned the citizens of Earth would happen from are destruction of this planet has occurred. There is no turning back now. Our only hope is to survive!

By the way, what you just read was my dream from last night. Interpret it any way you want, but I know what it means and everyone should be prepared as much as they can.

Good luck!

Depth of Character

Each person has a brain.  The size of that brain is predetermined.  How they use that brain is up to them.  Why they use it for hate is beyond me.

Exit Plan

I think I am subconsciously trying to get someone evicted so I can move into the house in their place?  I didn’t realize I was doing it until my second conversation with this person renting this guy a room.  He isn’t an ideal roommate at all and actually is quite rude, demanding and makes people walk on tiptoe around him and he just rents a room from someone, he doesn’t own the house!  The rent for this room is cheap and she can easily rent it out after she evicts him; to me.  It could take months for this to happen but that would be just the right amount of time for me to move.  We will see what transpires.  I am only trying to help her out, but if it benefits me as well, then why not?

Inner Balance

If it rained for the next 2 months straight, I’d be the happiest person on Earth. But I know it won’t so I have to soak as much of it in as I can. Every moment of rain is a blessing to me and this planet we all call home. I know most people don’t get me and think I’m weird, funny, odd or whatever for feeling this way about rain. As usual I don’t care. I do however care about the only planet we have to live on and the condition I leave it in once I’ve passed on to the next battlefield.

Blessings and joys come in many different shapes and forms for me, but one thing I am certain of is the downhill spiral of humans and what stupid things they focus on to determine their next Godly course of action.
